City to conduct confidential survey of residents

By CRA News Service

City officials need feedback from residents on the community and local government and will randomly survey them this month.

The city has been using surveys to provide valuable information since 2007.  Surveys help measure service performance, assess community needs and provide information for strategic planning. They also provide opinions from residents who do not attend commission meetings or other public events.

A pre-addressed, stamped envelope will be included to return completed surveys.  Respondent information will be kept anonymous.

The Citizen Survey will be finalized in January 2012 and posted on the City’s website,, as well as published in the City of Delray Beach’s Annual Report.
