Local church unveils strategy to empower the inner man

BOYNTON BEACH – St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 900 N. Seacrest Blvd., holds its 6th Annual Men’s Conference series from Nov. 30 through Dec. 3.

The theme is “Equipping for Battle,” and the conference aims to cover the weakest part of man – his prayer life – by arming him through prayer from a Biblical Foundation.

Every session features a segment that lays out a clear course, making it easier to navigate through today’s challenges, organizers said.

“This conference is designed to move us beyond the flesh and not just ministering to what is seen, but strengthening the inner man and reconnecting seamless relationships in our families, churches and communities for ministry outside the walls,” said Min. Al Francis, conference organizer. “These days of renewing, reflecting and refocusing ministry and business opportunities are what you will need to have a five-star ministry in the 21st Century and beyond.”

Organizers encourage pastors to bring their ministries and their assistants and associates, both male and female.

Senior pastors, who have spent several years supporting ministries for men, will be recognized during a Q & A luncheon on Saturday. This session is for men only.

“What a wonderful way to celebrate them and their ministries!” Francis said.
