New commissioner, incumbent take office this week

DELRAY BEACH (March 28) – The Delray Beach City Commission will see one new commissioner and an incumbent returning for another two-year term when it meets today for a special meeting.

The commission meets at 6 p.m. at Delray Beach City Hall, 100 NW First St.

The commission will choose a vice mayor and deputy vice mayor at tonight’s meeting.

On March 6, voters elected Al Jacquet to the city commission. Incumbent commissioner Angeleta “Angie” Gray won another two-year term.
