Construction Workers Needed for Proposed Outlets Project

Construction workers, interested in working on the planned Palm Beach Outlets project, are invited to a job fair on Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The free event will be at Mary V. McDonald-Wilson Center at Gaines Park, 1501 N. Australian Ave., West Palm Beach.

The 800,000 square feet-project, at the old Palm Beach Mall at Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard and Interstate 95, is expected to create hundreds of local construction jobs over the next two years. The outlet will be on 80 acres.

Interested applicants should bring a resume. They also may pre‐register at for a chance to win a $100 Home Depot gift card.  Pre-registration is not required to attend the fair.
