BMI Elite holds toy drive to Benefit Miami Children's Hospital

DELRAY BEACH-  A local company is organizing a toy drive to benefit kids who will spend the holidays in the hospital.
The Business Development Manager at BMI Elite, John Mastrangelo, is organizing this special event in addition to the company’s annual holiday toy drive for his 10 year old niece, Briana, and her friends at Miami Children’s Hospital.  She was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year.  Currently, she is six months into a two year treatment plan, which she began immediately after diagnosis.

“BMI Elite is always looking for great causes like this one to get involved with,” said CEO Brandon Rosen.  “We are very proud and honored to help out the Mastrangelo Family and the children at Miami Children’s Hospital.”

In support for Mastrangelo, his co-workers at BMI Elite, have collected dozens of toys for the children ranging from 7 to 17 years old.  According to Casey Kurlander, BMI Elite, a box full of toys was delivered to the hospital last weekend. Realizing how far a new toy can go for a child in the hospital, they are keeping an empty box in the lobby for more donations to continue giving each child at the hospital a toy.

If your are interested in donating a brand new toy for the children at Miami Children’s Hospital, please drop them off at BMI Elite located at 1801 S. Federal Highway Delray Beach, FL 33483.  Or for further information, contact Casey Kurlander at 561-330-6666 x317 or caseyk@bmielite.com
