Atlantic Community High School will host the annual Relay for Life on April 13 and 14, 2013.
Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this 18-hour event aims to raise awareness in remembrance of those who have lost the battle, celebrating those who have survived the battle, and fighting back for those who currently struggle with cancer, organizers said.
“The event acts an annual fundraiser in an effort to brace a cause near to many of the participants’ hearts – cancer,” said Alex Silberman, one of the organizers. “And this year, we are not only asking students to get involved, but we are reaching out to the greater Delray Beach Community. Atlantic Community High School invites Delray Beach residents to make a team or attend the event in order to show their support.”
To join the Relay and being your journey, here are the next steps necessary to successfully pass on the baton.
