Suspect Wanted for Burglary to Businesses in Unincorporated Delray Beach

Authorities need the public’s help to identify a man they said tried to break into two businesses west of Delray Beach recently.

On Feb. 15, at around 4:15 a.m., the suspect attempted to enter Subway restaurant and Bits, Bridles & Boots on US 441.

Surveillance video showed the suspect trying to smash out the front glass of each of the businesses using a piece of a cinder-block.

Damages were over $1,000.

The man fled to an awaiting white SUV, possibly a 2000 to 2006 Chevrolet Suburban.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
