DELRAY BEACH (Feb. 28) – Delray Marketplace, a new 254,686 sq. ft. dining, entertainment and shopping destination by Kite Realty Group, has announced that retailers will begin opening in February and March 2013.
The highly-anticipated development is anchored by Publix Supermarket, which opened on Jan. 17, and Frank Theatres IMAX CineBowl & Grille, which opened to the public on Feb. In addition, an array of high-end shopping, dining and entertainment retailers including Chicos, White House | Black Market, JoS. A. Bank, Charming Charlie, Apricot Lane, Burt & Max’s Grille, Polaroid Fotobar, Republic of Couture (ROC), Xtend Barre, Bella Amici Pizzeria, It’Sugar, Japango, Orange Leaf, Terra Fiamma, The Grind Coffee and The Olive Tap, to name a few, will open in February and March with others scheduled to open throughout the spring and summer of 2013.
“Delray Marketplace is one of our premier properties and we’re very pleased with the design, amenities and retail variety the project offers Delray Beach and the surrounding communities,” said Tom McGowan, president and chief operating officer of Kite Realty Group. “The property brings much-needed dining, entertainment and shopping options to the area and we’re excited to officially open the center.”
Delray Marketplace will host its grand opening event on Saturday, March 23. The opening festivities will include a day-long series of “Le Cirque Delray” circus themed, family oriented entertainment featuring kid-friendly activities, strolling entertainment, tenant samplings, and live music in the new amphitheater which accommodates 200 guests.
