A flood and hurricane awareness expo is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15, the Boynton Beach Mall, 801 N. Congress Ave.

The free event — hosted by the mall, Community Rating Systems User Group and Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management — features 20 informational private and public sector vendors.

Residents will have a chance to check which of the five evacuation zones in Palm Beach County they live in.   They also will receive answers to insurance, flood, safety procedures and other hurricane-related questions.

There will also be a free drawing for a generator.
