Going Cross-Country to Bring Home the Gold

Members of the Palm Beach Coralytes, a nationally ranked competitive synchronized swim team, will represent Florida in a national Synchronized Swim Annual Water competition next week.

The team will compete at the 2013 eSynchro U.S. Age Group Synchronized Swimming Championships in Riverside, Calif. from June 21-29.

The meet is the largest synchronized swimming meet in the world, and features competition in four age groups: 11-12, 13-15, 16-17 and 18-19.

The Palm Beach Coralytes are led by head coach Caroline Karolinko, a former member of the team who joined the program at age 10.

Established in 1985, the Palm Beach Coralytes are the oldest and most recognized team in Palm Beach County. They have called the Aqua Crest Pool home since 1995.

They were ranked 8th in the US Nationals in Buffalo, NY in 2010.
