RIVIERA BEACH—A delegation from the Freeport, Grand Bahamas City Council will visit City Hall on Wednesday, June 19th.
The delegation is coming at the invitation of Mayor Thomas Masters to explore opportunities for synergy between the two cities for economic development and other matters.
Freeport and Riviera Beach have formed a sister city relationship in 2010 designed to foster cultural exchanges and offer mutual support.
The itinerary for the visit includes a presentation and tour at the Palm Beach County Convention Center from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; lunch at Park Avenue BBQ in North Palm Beach at 12:15 p.m.; an official ceremony and group discussion at the Riviera Beach City Hall at 2 p.m.; and a city bus tour at 3 p.m.
