Boynton Beach High’s Theatre Academy Presents Evening of Student’s Original Work

By Bito David

Students in the Theatre Academy at Boynton Beach Community High School will perform their humorous, moving and thought-provoking work on Nov. 7 and 8 at 7 p.m.

The 6th Annual Evening of Monologues, directed by Joe Ametrano, will take place at the BBCHS Black Box Theatre, 4975 Park Ridge Blvd, Boynton Beach.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students with valid ID and are available for both performances.

The School District of Palm Beach County encourages student participation in fine arts.  Student performances throughout the School District play an important part in the overall academic success of students.

A growing body of research indicates that students with more arts education have higher academic achievement across the curriculum when compared to students who have less exposure.
